It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of fangs, must be the want of women every where. But I am sorry to say that is not the case with me. Summer in the City =)

~Vegas~

A few years ago we headed off to Vegas for a quick family vacation. While we enjoyed seeing all the sites...gambling... roller coaster riding... Prince concert...after a few days we were more than ready to head home to the quiet shores of our beach =)

~Daddy~

Anyone can be a father...it takes someone special to be a daddy~

~Dad~

Meg & Jim on an adventure with their dad on top of a frozen glacier...Happy Father's Day to the man who makes every day an adventure =)

~Souvenirs~

Whenever we went on vacation, we would always bring back some kind of souvenirs. On our trip up to Oregon in 1962, Todd & I decided we would get bumper stickers and window decals from every place we visited. Dad was a good sport and let us plaster the car with them. Of course he also made us remove them and little did we know just HOW difficult that would be! After that experience we kept our souvenirs to the nonsticky kind!

Love this photo of the 4 of us on the beach in Cabo...even cooler is unknown to us at the time there was a whale breeching in the background. Sometimes my photos DON'T suck =)

ahhhhhh summer time...which means family summer vacations....one of our most favorite trips was to Hawaii and a favorite excursion was to bike down Haleakala...gotta love a family photo where Meg is doing an arabesque...Jim is trying to pop a wheelie and Michael and I are holding on for dear life =)

My dream vacation would be to travel to the world's most famous museums and see ALL the classic works of art that I only saw in books in college...I heart art =)

Continuing with my girl Amy's awesome Our Story collection kits...next comes From This Moment... a beautiful wedding kit. What better way to show off pictures of mom, me & Meg wearing the same wedding dress that my grandmother (dad’s mom) made back in 1948…with a few alterations over the years =)

~Engaged~

My girl Amy has a beautiful new series of kits called Our Story...the first kit is called Then He Kissed Me...perfect colors for documenting the night Michael and I got engaged over 31 years ago....time DOES fly when you are having fun =)

~Nature~

Spent the morning planting lots of new flowers and succulents in the garden...I love mother nature =)
