Meg is coming down to visit for a few days...wooohooo~! This means lots of talking... laughing...shopping... playing... watching movies... ...lunches on the beach... talking.... laughing... shopping... walking along the shore...talking... laughing... shopping... well you get the idea~! No matter what we do...we will have fun~!

Another gorgeous kit by my girl Emily...This is a picture of Beatrix Potter's house...figure with all the bunnies running around in our yard that are too elusive for me to get a photo of...I should pay tribute to them somehow =)

Here is my little stud muffin hitting a home run waaaaaaay back in 1994...another one of my great out of focus action shots...maybe SOME day I will figure out all the buttons on my camera and how to use them =) meanwhile here is yet another great kit/template combo from my girls Emily & Sine...they ROCK~! =)

~Bug~!

Isn't this THE most awesome bug EVER~!?!?! We came across it when we were hiking thru the San Elijo Lagoon. The green color just really sparkled in the sunlight...which is why it caught our eye...wonder why it hadn't caught some birds eye? =) I was soooooooo much in awe that I must have taken about 20 pictures of the thing... what can I say...Mother Nature ROCKS~!

~Firsts~

I love this photo of Meg getting her very first haircut....using my girl Krystal's new Shabby Baby kit~
Meg is so busy playing with hair curlers that she doesn’t really know what is going on...which I suppose is a good thing =) I also love how she is turning around looking at my mom who is reflected in the mirror. But it is also the last photo I have of Millie…who cut my hair for years and years and died not too long after this photo was taken....

~Memories~

I LOVE this picture of Meg~! In St James Park there were rows and rows of daffodils just blooming all over the place. They must have planted them at some point in time....do daffodils grow wild? who knows =) anyway...they were just beautiful and Meg wanted her picture taken among them. So she plopped herself on the ground and I snapped a photo...good thing I took it quickly cause the next thing I knew she jumped right up cause the ground was soaking wet~! ahhh...memories =) This layout is another kit/template combo from my girls Emily and Sine...woohoo they rock~!

sooooooo...have I mentioned that I love this kit from my girl Emily? hahaha =) here are Jim and mom waaaaaaaay back in 1984 walkin' along the beach in San Clemente...summer has always meant staying at the beach and boy do I sure miss the beach house =( but life goes on...huh? and speaking of life going on...how was that for a segue? =) if you recall a few months back I was a guest CT member for Designs by Sine...well I must have made SOME kind of an impression cause I am now a full time member...woohoo~!

and this layout was made using one of her awesome templates... watercolors and templates... life IS good =)

For Mother's Day Michael got me a trip to the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Pasadena...gotta love a man who supports your creative endeavors~! =) The actual convention was this past weekend and it was fun...fun...fun~! I took 11 different scrapbooking classes and learned soooo many new tricks and techniques~! I won door prizes in my first 3 classes and my last 2 classes... woohooo~! my bag of goodies was filled to the brim~! My new funnest thing to make is acrylic albums... they are soooooo cool and unique...love the look~! So here's a layout summing up just one fun day of scrapping...using my girl Emily's Color My World Kit

~Summer~

So I am am going to attempt to post two layouts again...cause my girl Krystal has a new kit out and I love...love...love it~! Naturally I love anything to do with the beach or the ocean and scrapbooking kits are no different :) so with summer fast approaching I imagine you will see more of these kinds of pages...woohoo~!

~Thunderstorm!~

We recently had a HUGE thunder...lightning and hail storm come thru our little town and wowzers did it put on a show~!! I could see the lightning right outside our window...augh~!! which meant the thunder was right on top of us. A few miles away they had hail the size of golf balls~! What is up with mother nature? Just remember....Lightning is God's way of telling you to get off the computer~! hahaha =)
