Wonderful~

Here is my layout for round two of BOTCT...all sorts of my girl Krystal's goodies used on this along with a beautiful photo of pelicans in flight in Cabo....what a wonderful world indeed~!

~Point~

I LOVE this photo by Meg of the pool at the Ghetty Villas...it just cracks me up~! She truly does have a different point of view =)

~Meg~

Meg is thoroughly enjoying her summer break from teaching. She has been taking various day trips all around her hometown & even venturing into Los Angeles. On this day she visited the Ghetty Villa & the Santa Monica Pier. Ahhh…the life of a California Girl.

~Love~

There is a contest going on at DigiScrap Addicts called the Battle of the Creative Teams...not sure what we get if we win...bragging rights I suppose =) so as part of Krystal's ~Scrap Happy~ team what better way to start off than focus on love....awwwwwww <3

~Haircut~

Meg got her hair cut and colored...it's it cute?!?! she looks sooooo chic and sophisticated...I love it~! Love this new kit from my girl Krystal that kit premiers at The Digichick on Friday...It's called A Pocketful Fun of Sunshine and I have been singing that song ever since :) love the kit... love Meg's haircut....love life~! =)

~Toothpick~

I love this photo of Jeff with his ever present toothpick in his mouth...tooooo cute =) This layout was made with my girl Krystal's A Beautiful World kit and one of her brand new alphas...goodness all around~! =)

~Mandolin~

I love this photo of my granddad…he seems sooo happy and proud of his brand new mandolin~! What's really special about this instrument is that now 93 years later Meg is learning how to play this SAME mandolin...so the family tradition of listening to the beautiful music this instrument makes continues to play on for yet another generation. Granddad would have been soooooooo VERY proud of his great granddaughter~!

~Meg~

Little did we know that when we named Meg...Meg...that there would be sooooo much confusion in regards to her name. Granted at the time she was born... Megan was THE most popular name for a girl...but her real name is actually Margaret and we have always called her Meg... except when she is in trouble...then it's Margaret Eileen~! =) So she has taken on the new song by the Ting Tings as her theme song...love it~!

~Summer~

Nothing beats hanging out in a pool for some summer time fun~! Here are Jim and G'mama floating around in Todd's pool and being silly... and having fun....ahhhh summer...I love it =)

~4th~

Michael & I had a quiet 4th of July...filled with fun...food and fireworks...who could ask for more~?! Here we are dressed as twins....hahaha NOT...just being patriotic! and my girl Sine has these new fade out text paths...something new for me to learn and play with...woohooo~! so Happy Birthday America~!

~Campfire~

Jimmy: Daddy are we gonna have a campfire?

Dad: (silence, putting on the coals)

~Freedom~

Well today would have been my dad's 82nd birthday so it seems only fitting that I pay tribute to him and his military service. We owe sooooo much to our military for all the sacrifices they have made for us in the name of freedom~ Love and miss you dad and thanks~! <3

~BBQ~

4th of July is rapidly approaching and that means BBQ time~! so many wonderful memories of summers spent at the beach house in San Clemente...have I mentioned how much I miss that? =) And here is a wonderful new kit by my girl Krystal who is a guest designer at My Scrapbook Art this month...her designs will set off some firework there...teehee =)
