My so called friend Judy tagged me..again~!! =) I was tempted not to do this...but then I thought...what if it's like those chain letters and if I don't keep the chain of tagging moving along then bad karma will befall me...or perhaps bad scrapbooking =) sooooooooo...I came up with some more goodies using my middle name...no way I am using my maiden name cause it's french and too many letters =) So now I get to select three more unsuspecting ~friends~ to tag so they can continue on with this madness =) So whomever I decide to tag THIS time...see the rules below and sorry~!! And word to the wise...if you tag me back again...you are soooooooooo not my new best friend anymore =)

~Faith~

Scrapbooking has been my outlet lately. Work has just been horrible...that is the polite word for it =) Lots of pressure and lots of stress...imagine if I worked full time!?!?! So my days off lately have been spent in a nice creative haze...losing myself in the designing and creating of various layouts. Several of my layouts have been recognized and given kudos at online scrapbooking sites and forums. Even more exciting than that is that I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of a scrapbook magazine that several of my layouts will be published in! =X And just recently I was selected to be on the Creative Challenge Design Team at Faith-Sisters. A truly amazing site that is so positive and uplifting and inspiring~! I find God's timing in all this rather amazing. He obviously knew that I needed some other focus right now other than work. What better focus to have than on Him. So keep the faith baby~! =)

~Gift~

When someone gives you a precious gift, the gracious thing to do is to write a thank you note. Scrapbooking is my thank you note to God for His precious gift He has given me, my family~

(RED)

With the new U2-3D movie coming out...figu(RED) I should mention the (RED) campaign again. I LOVE how Hallmark is now carrying a whole line of (RED) products~! It makes it soooo much easier to decide on my purchases. If I have a choice of buying card or buying a card that part of the profit helps support a cause, then of course I am going to purchase the latter. And it's not just Hallmark...Armani...The Gap... Motorola... they are all joining in. So I hope by having sha(RED) this layout of Meg's trip to Uganda, you will be empowe(RED) and inspi(RED) to help make a difference in the world too~

I LOOOOOVE this picture of Jim & Cassie~! =) So of course I had to design a layout using it. I am having more fun playing with Krystal Hartley's digital kits. There is still TONS I have to learn in regards to using all these elements. Basically I am just ploppin' thing on the page and there is sooooooo much more to it that it's rather mind boggling. But I have to admit it's fun to play around with them...and it doesn't make my scrapbook room look like a tornado hit it when I am done =) So a big shout out to Krystal for all these amazing kits and more importantly...a big shout to the Lord for all His good gifts~!!!

hahahaha~!! Am I a future trend setter or what? =) Being part of Krystal Hartley's Creative Ensemble gives me the opportunity to create digital layouts and when I saw the paper and embellishments from her new kit I just knew I had to scrapbook this picture~! Here I am in all my 1960 glory...stretch leopard pants...plastic shoes and purse! Look familiar? Yes fashion trends DO repeat themselves....tho I am not so sure that this is a good trend to repeat =) If nothing else I hope this makes you laugh as much as it did me...so have a grrrrrrrrrrreat day~! =)

I love the look on Meg’s face as she enjoys the pure abandon of making a snow angel. Can you tell which footprints are hers? The ballet turned out ones of course =) So just how can we seek God’s wisdom for us in the New Year? By drawing near to Him and walking in His footsteps, God will draw near to us in His mercy and will set us free from all our anxiety. X marks the spot in our heart where God reigns. ~Happy 2008~

My friend Cheryl over at Faith Sisters tagged me...or should I say former friend? =) I am not sure of the ~official~ rules of all this...but she shared with me Five Little Known Facts About Her....so I figured I had better return the favor. Have to say it was rather hard to narrow it down..I mean if I listed all the embarrassing things that have happened to me in my life I could write a book...hey there is an idea~! =) My family knows all these facts...apparently that is what being in a family means...they know all your deep dark secrets =) I know I talk a lot in that forum...but I do not think I have shared these with anyone. Not sure if I am disqualified if someone knows one of these facts =) And now..if I understand the rules of this...I apparently get to select some other people to tag...I see you all cringing~!!! hmm...wonder just who is going to receive an email saying...you have been tagged~! =)

I LOVE this picture of Jim and mom in their silly crazy New Years hats~! It just makes me laugh =) This photo was taken on a cruise we took to ring in the New Year 2005. I LOVE being on a cruise during that time of year. Not only is it around our Anniversary but it's the one holiday that every country in the world celebrates so the entire ship is just full of smiley happy guests and crew members celebrating! What a great way to start the New Year...with a huge celebration that everyone can enjoy~! Happy New Year~!
