~Hot~

Blame it on the new roof...global warming...mother nature...whatever the reason it has been HOT here lately~! It was in the 90's here the other day=0 It never used to get past the 80's~! On top of that there was a shark attack at the beach so I can't even go to the beach to cool off :::insert creepy Jaws music here::: So to stay cool I have been scrapbooking our summer vacations...haha...how is that for logic...if you can't be AT the beach then scrapboook it~! So here are Jim & Meg hanging out at in Pensacola... aaaaaah...doesn't that look refreshing =) Ok...time to make another batch of iced tea~! Keep cool...hang loose and enjoy the day~!

~Moving~

So this week is moving week for Meg AND for Jim. Meg & Jeff are moving out of their apartment into a house. I am sooooo happy for them cause they need that extra space to spread out. I think the turtles will be happy with their own backyard now too =) But Jim is moving out of his house into an apartment...go figure =) It was a cute little house but he got tired of living in a ~historic monument~ with too many problems that needed fixing. So he's off to an apartment that has 2 pools... a weight room and laundry. The big plus...airconditioning that he doesn't have to pay for~! =) Where ever they might move to...they are always here at home in my heart~

~Earth~

In honor of Earth Day I thought I would post a little layout about my garden...well about the gnomes that hang out in my garden gnomes actually =) This layout was created using Krystal's new ~Inspired By~ kit line that is currently sale at http://www.polkadotpotao.com/. She is naming the kits for her design team members...this one is for Cheryl and I can hardly wait to see what MINE looks like =) And because it IS Earth Day...I planted all sorts of new plants in my garden. Just doing my bit to help erase my carbon footprint. So no matter how you celebrate Earth Day...whether it's buying a potato or planting one...just remember to do SOMETHING to give back to mother earth~!

This picture was taken about 4 years ago but looking at it still brings a HUGE smile to my face. =) I love my kids~! It's not the big things...but the little things that they do that bring soooo much joy into my life~ I hope today brings you some special kind of joy as well~

Yuchahahaha =) This proves that both my kids are silly~! And they weren't just silly when they were little...they are STILL silly~! Here is Jim imitating some funky looking cactus that we saw at our recent trip to the Botanical Gardens in Tucson. I'm not sure just why the cactus ends up looking like this but it sure makes for a great photo~op~! And I hope today brings a few yucHAHAHA's to you =)

hahaha =) I LOVE looking at pictures of my kids when they were little and seeing just how much they have changed. This is Meg dressed up wearing all sorts of ~bling~ I have no idea just what she was trying to do...other than prove that she was waaaaaaaaaaaay cool and remains so to this day~! I guess that means she really hasn't changed all that much =) Sometimes ya just gotta laugh AND be cool about it =)

~Spring~

Spring has sprung around here. There are beautiful colors everywhere! My garden is in full bloom and the hummingbirds are back. I LOVE sitting out on the patio and listening to the birdies sing~! SOOOO peaceful and relaxing.

I wanted to get this layout posted for April Fools day but the joke is on me as life has been soooo busy I just haven't had the time til today. This picture was taken at one of those silly photo booths in Old Town San Diego waaaaay back in 1979...and NO those are NOT our normal clothes =)~ but wow...sure does bring back memories and it makes me laugh~! Hope it makes you laugh too~! =)
