~Gnomes~

Here are just a few of my gnomes hanging out in the yard...hahaha..I LOVE these little guys...they just crack me up~! If you have ever seen the movie Amelie or The Full Monty...that's what got me started ~hangin with my gnomies~ and my girl Paula just made a new kit with a gnome in it...ya gotta love it when your love of scrapbooking intertwines with your love of gnomes~!

~Hidden~

On our last trip to Disneyland, Jeff kept pretending he saw these everywhere so we finally bought him a book on the subject. When he & Meg recently visited California Adventure they followed the directions in the book to find some of the OFFICIAL Hidden Mickey’s!

~Easter~

A layout of Jim & Cassie and their Easter celebration in Arizona~ We missed seeing them but so glad they had a fun celebration of their own~! And little did I know when I made this layout using Nikki Painter Designs that she would be retiring from designing =( Makes me so very sad but I totally understand family comes first...so thank you Nikki for giving me THE most awesome experience of being on your CT...YOU ROCK~!

~Mandolin~

This is one of only two photos I have of my grandfather playing his mandolin in 1956 and one of many photos of his great granddaughter Meg playing the same mandolin in 2009. I have so many fond memories of my grandfather playing this beautiful instrument, so I was thrilled when Meg wanted to learn how to play. Listening to her strum some of the same tunes brings back soooo many fond memories =)

~Spring~

Spring has sprung...the flowers are blooming...the birds are singing...and my girl Paula has a new kit called Spring a Ling...hahaha...LOVE that title =) so take time to stop and smell the flowers and to look at this layout of Meg & Jeff enjoying a beautiful spring day~!

~Easter~

This layout was for the 12 of 12 Challenge at Faith Sisters...the theory behind it being that you take 12 pictures on the 12th day of the month...how cool that it fell on Easter this month~!

~Tagged~

So little Miss Olivia ~tagged~ me with the following request:
Go to the photos folder on your computer.
Go to the seventh folder of photos.
Go to the seventh photo.
Put the seventh photo on your blog along with a description.

So here is what I came up with...first off I went to the 6th folder on my computer cause the 7th was Tax stuff and there are no photos...just excel files that would have been boring and depressing to look at...hahaha =) So the 6th folder is labelled Michael but then in that folder I also picked the 6th photo cause in the Michael folder there are subfolders labelled with various dates/occassions/etc...hey it's how *I* organize things so *I* can find them =)~ but this was the 6th photo that was just hanging out and not put into a specific subfolder. Michael is the cute little squirt in the middle in between his brother Philip & Tom and this photo is of them romping on the beach in Liberia, Africa waaaaaaaaay back in 1960. I wanted to scrapbook this photo for a long time cause it's just soooooooooo darn cute...so I guess this is a subtle hint to get my act together...so thanks Miss Olivia and now just who am *I* going to tag...maybe I will just pick 6 since that seems to be MY theme for this tag =)

Easter is fast approaching and I am just now getting around to scrapping LAST years photos...well better late than never =) Here is yet another feeble attempt of mine to take a picture of both Michael & I...SOME day I will be able to do this without chopping off either of our heads~! =)
