~Hybridilicious~

Somehow I got volunteered to host a hybrid challenge over at GDWI...stop laughing~! =)~ So lately I have been buried under gobs of modge podge and picking glitter out of my teeth. And here is what I came up with. These are using my girl Paula's Create A Book kit. One is a dinosaur ABC book...and thank you Google for helping me come up with dino names for ALL the letters~! hahaha =) The other book is for Michael for our 30th anniversary ...shhh don't tell him~! But it was fun to print and glue and glitter my little heart out making these. So run on over to GDWI and you will get Paula's book and one kit at half off to create a project of your very own. You too can have fun on the hybridilicious highway~! =) <~~I think I got all the glitter out of my teeth...hahaha~!

My girl Krystal has done it again with another beautiful kit AND a heart template~! I am not a ~fall~ person...give me summertime ANY day... but this kit is soooo pretty and so versatile that it can be used for any season...as shown here and the previous layout. =) Love this picture of Meg & I and wasn't it cool how we we wore shirts JUST to match this kit!?! hahaha~ <3

My kids crack me up~! Here they are monkeying around with some tribal masks that were set up at the San Diego Zoo. Dontcha just go ape over pictures like this? hahaha =)

~Home~

Isn't this photo just adorable? Thanks to my girl Emma the layout is even MORE adorable. =) When Meg & Jeff drove down for the weekend they were both sooo exhausted they fell right to sleep on the sofa. That's what a home is all about...a place you go and feel at peace with your surroundings. There IS no place like home~

~Birthday~

So here is the birthday boy...happily opening his presents. Ok so his birthday was 2 weeks ago but hey at least the event is scrapbooked now~! =)~ Aren't these colors bright and pretty?! This kit is from my girl Paula who submitted this design at Faith Sisters because wowzers...Faith Sisters is having a birthday too~!! I really doubt they planned this around Michael's birthday but don't tell HIM that...might hurt his feelings =) so rush on over and check out all the amazing kits and in the spirit of the upcoming election...vote for your favorite designer~!

~Cousins~

Well aren't we just the cutest things? This is me with my cousins Mark & Kathy hanging out at Mission Bay a LONG time ago =) Yep I've got the tee shirt on over my swim suit cause even back then I did the burn...blister...peel routine~ But I still remember those fun times splashing in the water and playing with my cousins!

~Mama Mia!~

hahahahahaha~!! Ok does this REALLY need any explanation? =) Yes I am a HUGE Colin Firth fan... Mr. Darcy sigh gasp =) But watching him in Mama Mia! was a bonus. I not only got to see him act but sing as well...woohoo~!! Just one of those great, feel good kinda movies. Hope this makes you smile...personally it just cracks ME up~! =)

Yep it's another beautiful...blissful day in paradise! Just spending my time hanging out in my garden and trying to catch up on scrapbooking ...both seem to be never ending projects =) Here's a layout of my sweet family hanging out at Old Town sippin margaritas after a day at the zoo. Michael just came from court which explain the suit & tie =) It's Amanda Dykan's beautiful Heavenly Bliss kit. I am now one of Amanda's ~IT Girls~ at Get Digi With It. Maybe this will inspire me to just GET with it...haha =) May you find bliss in YOUR day~!

~Beach~

Yep it's another beautiful day in paradise here~!Ya gotta love living in so cal with the beach right out your back door~! The kids took advantage of the great weather while they were visiting and hit Moonlight Beach for some sun & surf. Perfect water temperature and great waves for boogie boarding. Everyone needs a day at the beach to keep that sun shiney smile on their faces~! =)

~Family~

Michael's birthday was Sunday and the bestest present he received was having all the kids home to celebrate~! We had a great time talking, laughing, playing games, going to the movies, the beach, the zoo. It was sooooo wonderful to have a busy house once again. Now it's all quiet and we miss them already but we have the precious memories of time spent together as a family.

I just HAD to make a post today of all days~! So happy 8-8-8~!! It's just so much fun to type and say...brings a smile to my face and joy to my heart...ok so that was a streeeeeeeeetchh of a segue but I HAD to mention the layout =) see those cute little popsicle sticks? well my girl Terrie from Faith Sisters and Faith Based Pages...well ok she is everywhere =) made those...aren't they the cutest things!?!?! This Scrap Evangel kit has several different scriptures written on the popsicle sticks. What a cool idea~! I am totally surrounded by amazing women of faith and talent...I stick around hoping some of it will rub off =) I hope your 8-8-8 is filled with joy and love and laughter and all of God's great blessings~!

I LOVE this picture of dad and Todd slurping on the same popsicle~!! Tho we never called dad ~pop~ I couldn't resist the play on words =) Remember the taste of those double stick rootbeer popsicles? Those were always THE most refreshing ones to me on a hot summer day~ This is yet another kit in the Faith Sisters Summer Collaboration...can you say wowzers?! Wishing you a slurpy kind of day =)~

Yep it's summer time in So Cal~! Dontcha LOVE these photos? This is my mom waaaaaaay back in 1953 swimming at La Jolla Shores...what a bathing beauty she was...and still is =) These goodies are from Emma's contribution to the Faith Sister Summer collaboration...love the aqua and orange...it just screams SUMMER~! Lots more parts to this kit...including the layout below...which is a good thing since living in so cal I have a LOT of beach pictures~! Hope you have a beachy kind of day...hahaha =)
