Several designers got together to make a collaboration kit with all the proceeds going to Haiti Relief...I LOVE it when buying scrapbook supplies also goes to a worthy cause~!! and here is a layout using just part of this awesome kit...kinda ironic after the last post...but here is Meg with Jonathan and Becca's new puppy Penny...toooooo cute~!

My girl Emily has this awesome new kit called Wild Things based on...you guessed it..Where The Wild Things Are... She painted this amazing background that I just had to use with a picture of Meg coming across an Old English Sheepdog while we walked around the lagoon...can't you just hear her saying...ELLIOTT~!!!! =)

We have been having some truly whackadoodle weather here lately...sooooooo much rain I am about to start building an ark =) but KarenSue sent me this photo of a little birdie in her backyard trying to cope with THEIR strange weather in its own way...believe me I would trade rain for snow ANY day =)

There was a fun little challenge over at Scrap Orchard to scrap the sites you visit every day online...kinda amazing to think where technology has come in such a short time...and how we can communicate instantly...anyone besides me write letters anymore? =)

I have no words to describe the grief I feel in the tragic and untimely death of Phil. He was not only a colleague and mentor but a very dear friend. This is a layout I made regarding the gift I donated to his work with the The Dina Foundation. As always scrap therapy helps but it does not take away the hurt. Vanika vakelevu and ni sa moce Phil~!

There is a ~My Life Story~ Challenge going on at Faith Sisters. Each week we scrap about a different aspect of our life...by the end of the year there will be a whole book about moi...unusual cause I am usually the one behind the camera =) So here is my title page with the verse that I hold most dear....Trust in the Lord~

~Idyllwild~

I am sooooooooo looking forward to going to our cabin in Idyllwild this year. It will be the first time our whole family will be together since Jim & Cassie’s wedding. Spending time frolicking in the snow, playing games in the cabin, sipping hot cocoa on the patio, just hanging out together is a little slice of heaven on earth!
