Michael hiking along a trail in the Grand Canyon...his most favoritist place...doesn't he kinda look like Indiana Jones? =) I think that is what he was TRYING to be...either way...it was an amazing journey~

Somehow the word ~adventure~ always brings Jim to mind...whether it's sky diving or riding roller coasters...he truly has the adventuresome spirit. And my girl Amy's new kit has just the goodies to show that off. I hope you all have an adventurous day exploring and enjoying life~!

Just one of my many past times...reading. I always have a stack of books by my bedside and have been known to stay up til the wee hours of the night to finish them. And if it's a book I love....like Gone With The Wind or Pride and Prejudice I will read it again and again...each time finding new pleasure and enjoyment...so pick up a book today and READ =)

~Happy~

Meg has been wanting a new bike for some time and she recently got one. It's soooo cute and sooo her and she is sooo happy. If you are in her neighborhood...keep an eye out for her as she pedals around town~! =)

~Rain~

It never rains in Southern California, right? Wrong! Recently we have been going round and round with bouts of sunshine followed by bouts of rain. I had been trying to get to the flower fields to see the beautiful ranunculus in bloom but Mother Nature was not cooperating. I finally got to visit after one rain storm and seeing the roses still damp with the moisture of the rain was just breathtaking. It was worth the wait but I do wish Mother Nature would make up her mind one way or the other!

~Spring~

The sun is shining...the birdies are singing...the butterflies are flittering and the flowers are blooming...spring has sprung in so cal and I LOVE IT~! I think this is the first time I have posted a double layout together...not sure if I like it...but I love this new kit by my girl Amy...springy awesomeness~! =)

~Celebrate~

Today I am not only celebrating the amazing women in my life...but also celebrating the new look on my blog. Don't you love it? I DO~!! My girl Cheryl designed it for me with Tracie's awesome kit and I love love love it~! I just can't stop looking at it cause it just makes me happy~! I am so blessed to have all these amazing and talented women in my life? =)

~Butterflies~

I recently took a visit to the Wild Animal Park to see the Butterfly Jungle exhibit. It was just beautiful~! So many different species with all the bright colors fluttering about...I loved it~!

~Easter~

There's no better way to celebrate Easter than attending an inspiring worship service and then enjoying a picnic lunch at the lagoon. We are blessed!

~Friday~

Legend has it that the Crown of Thorns was the plant that was placed on the head of Jesus during the crucifixion. It has long spiny stems and when it blossoms, the red flowers at the end are compared to drops of blood.
