We celebrated Meg's 28th birthday at Disneyland on Sunday. It was soooooo much fun to spend her happiest day of the year at the happiest place on earth =) Happy birthday babycakes...love ya~!

~Kids~

My kids just crack me up~! I got these tee shirts for them at Christmas that say I tolerate my Sister/Brother more each day...hahaha...and of course Jim had to wear his when he came home this weekend and saw Meg...as you can tell by their expressions...they more than tolerate one another...hahaha love you guys~! =)

~Spring~

How about this awesome new collab kit from my girl Paula. It was perfect for this picture if Meg walking thru the San Elijo lagoon. We came across this tree where the seed pods were opening and floating all around us. It was almost like snowflakes falling. Snow in the spring in So Cal... go figure =)

~Knees~

Getting old sucks =) My knees were acting up...all those years of hurdling have finally caught up with me =) So for the past month I have been having synthetic knee fluid injected once a week....can you say OWIE~! But I am hoping and praying the end result will help with the pain and mobility and bottom line... prevent me from having knee replacement surgery...so I just ~knee'd~ to wait and see =)

~Joy~

I love this picture of Meg & Jim on the cruise, digging into a piece of our anniversary cake. They always crack me up and bring such joy to my heart~! They have always been each other’s best friends and watching this relationship develop over the years is one of the greatest joys I have ever known. I love seeing them laugh and be crazy and yeah every once in awhile they DO have their serious discussions. I thank God for this wonderful blessing and I thank you two, because you bring me Joy~!

Today is my little stud muffin's 25th birthday... yep he is a quarter of a century old...which makes me even way older...augh~!!! He is off celebrating in Las Vegas...where else~! But he is coming home next weekend to celebrate his big day with us....woohooo~! So Happy Birthday buddy bud...love ya lots~! xxoo

I love this picture of Meg & Jim and I love that as brother and sister they are so very close. Even when they were little they were bestest friends and I am so very thankful that relationship continues today! Love you both~!

~Memories~

I’m not sure when Papa decided you were old enough to go fishing, but one year he took you and Meg to the pier in San Clemente. He showed you how to bait your hook, lower your line into the water , wiggle the pole up and down to attract the fish and then to sit and be patient to wait for the fish to bite. Grandmama & I figured the novelty of this adventure would last about 20 minutes and then you’d want to hit the beach again. But you two sat there for hours waiting to catch a fish. It seemed like every time you were ready to call it quits you would get a nibble on your line and you would be soooooooooo excited and then even more determined to catch one. Little did you know that Papa was standing above you, wiggling your fishing lines for you! Grandmama & I tried so very hard NOT to giggle, because you two were so determined! You two did end up catching a couple of fish, but that wasn’t the highlight of the day. Sometimes it’s not about catching the fish, it’s about sharing the experience with the ones you love.

So this month I am a guest member of Sine's Creative Team. Sine makes these awesome templates for scrapbooking! It's kinda like working with a blueprint. She will draw out the basic design of a layout and then it's up to me to slap in the pictures...elements and journaling... easy peasy...to quote my friend Cheryl...hahaha =) It's fun and amazing to see just how differently everyone uses these. So even tho the basic groundwork is there...the final layouts rarely look like the same. Here is a layout using one of Sine's awesome templates along with some goodies from my girl Krystal's latest kit. I'm thinkin' they need to change the name from template...to "easy peasy"...whaddya think? =)

Michael & I were...enjoying a beautiful hike along the San Elijo trail when we came upon this lovely patch of clover. In one of my more artistic moments I thought it would be cool to take a picture of our shadows and then use it for a St. Patrick's Day layout. Unfortunately I was sooo busy setting up the shot that I failed to notice Michael making bunny ears over my head...men... sheesh =)
